Split Lip!

First topic message reminder :

Anyone who doesn't want to hear about toilet actions, read no further.

Ha! Got ya! You're still reading! popcorn

Right, well, I was at work this morning and at about 11:30am (not particularly relevant, but just sets the scene) I thought "I need to pee". We've all done that, right? So, off I trots (excuse the pun) to the ladies' toilets.

I go in & open the door to the cubicle I always use - no reason, just habit. I shut the door after me & turn to remove a kiddie's toilet seat from the main one. Again, not exceptional, eh?

HOWEVER. The bolt on that door only just connects to lock the door. That isn't a problem cause there's never anyone around.

I put the kiddie's seat on a shelf, undo my trousers & as I pull them down I turn around. At this point the door springs open (it's a small cubicle) and the metal bolt and my lower lip collide quite forcibly! I believe the normal verbal reactions to something like this are "Ouch" "Oooh, that hurt" and "Oh dear". I think I expressed myself along those terms. blush

So I sit & continue to do what nature wanted me to when I feel something dripping down my chin, I grab a handful of tissue and...blood. Loads of it. Seriously! Ever tried pulling up underwear & trousers whilst trying to staunch a blood flow when you're not even sure exactly where the blood is coming from or what damage you've done? Not easy, I can tell you.

By the time I got to the wash basin (there's a mirror above it) the blood was running down my chin and neck & threatening to ruin my rugby shirt! It took about 4 or 5 hours to completely stop & I now look like I've gone 5 rounds with Mike Tyson! Ok, just 10 seconds would do for me, but you get what I mean?

The pic is recent - it looks a lot better now that it did just after I did it!!!
