does your cat play in water?

I think Chilli is weird!  Ive had cats before but not like her!

She thinks shes a dog? She comes when called..eats between them at dinner, (sniff sniff, what have you got?) brings a ball back..  well she bloodly well does!

She sits & plays with her feet in the water bowl in the laundry!!! Its the dog bowl! She has her own water &milk bowl. She carries her toys & puts them in the dogs water bowl, then doodles with her feet in the water for fun!!!  

Have you got a cat (or known one) that plays in water?

Elvis and Hector love water, specially Hector. He comes in sop soaking wet and not worried at all. Elvis will sit in my bathroom sink and I have to open the tap for him to make a mess.
My mum has 3/4 (I think) that love water. Ziggy is the worst. He'll yowl and my mum has to put water in the bath for him to trod and splash around in. You'll sometimes find him sitting in the dogs water bowl.
He also only drinks running water.

Oh, FFS! She's them!!! She kept playing in the bath, like a rat on heat... i think it's  like a roller tube to her, sliding, climbing, the downward spiral? Chilli.. OUT! yest she decided the hand basin was fun....I thought... right... here's a lesson...the basin is not a play toy, playing here is NOT ok. & I turned the tap on expecting her to bolt.

She didnt move! I had to dry her off.
She's going to be the  death of me!

  
My old cat liked to drink out of the tap and splash the water but Misty, mycat now doesn't

They're freacky. My old cat mitzy ,( the meister) also liked to drink from the kitchen tap but didnt like wet paws.

Work that out?

we aussies dont call anyone by their given name.
Chilli dosent care if her feet are wet. But she dosent like wet grass?

The only first hand experience I've had of a cat was my sister's cat some years ago. As a kitten he'd paw at puddles & the water bowl, but I think that was it! But then, he wasn't a kitbull!!

In my limited experience of cats I've never come across one who liked water to play in   

Chilli looks and sounds absolutely gorgeous   

Our first cat detested water and being wet but would climb into the fishpond to get at the fish.
