Socks

OK this is a silly one for the "silly season".

After today's thunderstorms the temperature has dropped, so I went to my sock drawer and took out 11 socks. And not one of them matches another!!!!

Where have 11 socks gone? Not Kuchar, I know for a fact. Not into the innard workings of my washing machine, because it would have me about it before now. Not hiding in the airing cupboard, cos I checked.

I suspect that I have a family of Borrowers using them as sleeping bags.

You know, the same thing happens here. I put all the washing in the machine, transfer it all to the dryer & when they come out, the socks don't all match!

Where do the odd ones go?

 It's the same here, I get so fed up with buying socks. I usually blame my daughter

Yep another house here with missing socks, and now a missing bowl, we've got 3 red bowls and no idea where the other is!

No, you can't! Once they're in my bedroom, they're gone forever!

On a related note, I actually found one of my old socks in my bedroom last Friday, when I was clearing out boxes. It was so old, it could stand up on its own!

I shall have to resort to wearing odd socks then. And if anyone remarks I shall say "Yes, and I have another pair just like them, but they're in Eleanor's bedroom"

But did you know that the new fashion in football boots is to have one in one colour & the other in a contrasting colour! Apparently that's how they're being sold - and I actually saw one of the footballers in the World Cup yesterday wearing just that!  

I have 2 sock monsters in my house 1 is Jo the other is Tommy , between then they make my life hell ...............................

They're doing a great job then!

I remember when wearing odd socks was all the rage - usually one luminous orange, the other luminous green.

Well, I'm glad to know that I'll be a trendsetter once again, even if my socks are pink and beige!

I normally just go without socks!
