Furminator

Post by Shisa on Wed Jul 23, 2014 4:39 pm

These things are a must have for any dog/cat owner - no matter your dogs coat!
I bought my mum one of the very expensive 'real' ones as a Christmas gift and wow! the amount of hair they take out is astounding.
Just bought myself a knock-off Chinese one and it works just as well but costs almost 10th of the money.
My mums was R780.00 mine R80.00
Can't wait to tackle Axel with it! Might save me the mountain of dust bunnies I have to vacuum up every second day.

If you don't have one yet, get one is my very strong recommendation.

This is how mine looks. My mums is a bit smaller, purple and the only difference is her's has a little plastic but that pushes the fur off the brush.

We have one for Dempsey. I agree, it's worth the investment, particularly with a thick coated/double coated dog.

The only thing you have to be careful with is (I'm told) that they can break the hair on a long coated dog if they're used too often.

Dempsey doesn't have that problem!
