Hello every body!

Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and loads of good fortune and blessings for everyone...

Life is finally returning to some semblance of normality for us. The kids are all ok for the most part, feeling a bit abandoned with their mum being at work so much and being tired the rest of the time.
Xan has a huge abscess under his jaw from something and having antibiotics but healthy and in very good condition otherwise, according to the vet.
Bruno has doubled in size and is such a gentle and sweet little man.
Missy had a bit of a bout of depression but is feeling better after spending the day with her mum.

How are all of you and your furkids?

Hi Theresa! Poor Xan, that must be painful for him. sad

What's got into Missy? Is it because Bruno's getting on her nerves? laughing

It's because I'm working such long hours and they have been severely neglected. Poor babies are used to having me around much more. She got depro missing me. Maybe shouldn't have named her Missy ...
Xan started meds today so we'll see how it goes. I was dreading hypothyroidism or Cushings but vet is confident it's only an abscess.

Abscesses are a pain but they usually respond really quickly to antibiotics.

Hi there Theresa, I'm another one that is glad the hullabaloo is all over, until it starts again in 9 months time!

So sorry to hear about Xan's abscess - hopefully the antibiotics will see it off quickly, and Missy's depression - I hope she cheers up soon.

Don't work too hard!
