Great Dane skin problems

Hello my great dane he is 8months old has skin problems like itching and losing spots of hair on tale and behind his left ear and thins out on his whole body mainly under his tummy and legs. And looks like pink pimples on his tummy and inside of his legs . I took him to vet but they just keep on putting him on cortisone ... Please help =(

Sounds abit like demodex mites to me, has he ever had a skin scrap to test for mites?

Also, have you tried getting a second opinion from another vet? Sometimes vets can miss things, so getting a second opinion can help.
