Do not leave your dogs unaccompanied in cars

I'm sure people are noticing that (in the UK, at least) the weather is starting to warm up. No dog should ever be left unaccompanied in a car, but the risk increases dramatically in warm/hot weather.

Please do not make the mistake of thinking that cracking the windows makes much of a difference. Dogs left in cars, even for twenty minutes, can suffer from extreme discomfort. They may also suffer from dehydration, heat stroke and possibly even death.
