Do not leave your dogs unaccompanied in cars

Post by Eleanor on Fri Mar 14, 2014 9:42 am

I'm sure people are noticing that (in the UK, at least) the weather is starting to warm up. No dog should ever be left unaccompanied in a car, but the risk increases dramatically in warm/hot weather.

Please do not make the mistake of thinking that cracking the windows makes much of a difference. Dogs left in cars, even for twenty minutes, can suffer from extreme discomfort. They may also suffer from dehydration, heat stroke and possibly even death.
