Dempsey had an... eventful walk just now
First off, we were practically tiptoeing out of the house with him, as some workmen next door were letting a little Cocker Spaniel run around off lead. Luckily, the dog was gone when we came out with Demps.
However, then we were about to set off to the park when we noticed a large, bright yellow football lying right in our path. Dempsey saw it as well. Mum had literally just finished saying, "Nah, he won't bother with it," when Dempsey oh-so-casually dipped his head and picked it up. It was so inconspicuous and dainty, we didn't even see him open his mouth!
We had trouble with the ball again on the way back, as mum picked it up and carried it out of sight. As we walked past though, it rolled out and Dempsey went lunging after it, scaring the workmen half to death!
Also on the way out, he met a seven-month-old Beagle and started whining to get to him. We didn't let them get too close, as the Beagle was an entire male and very bouncy.
Then when we finally got to the green, Dempsey decided that his toy of the day was going to be a stick. There were sticks everywhere. Every time we wrestled one away from him, he'd dart off and grab another! We ended up playing almost a game of flirt pole with a stick, trying to keep it out of his reach while he flipped and twisted around to get it.
Unfortunately, he's also got the runs again and made a mess on his back legs. God knows what this one's about!
So yeah! He's thoroughly tired!

He's feeling a bit better now! Ate his dinner quickly enough!
