Re: hello
Have a look at a few of these I regularly use this site for work stays
http://www.laterooms.com/en/p2398/pv154698/r11477_hotels-in-staffordshire.aspx?hidfl=&k=Staffordshire&d=20140718&n=2&rt-adult=2&rt-child=0&rt=2-0¤cies=GBP
Best value for me is "Days Inn" at Stafford only a 20-30 min drive max from the venue and I always stay in these with Tommy , I have 1 this weekend for the East of England Champ Show , but they do charge a nightly fee of 5 for a dog . Travelodge charge 20 per stay so if you have 2 dogs and stay 2 nights then it works out the same

Re: hello
Some shows will allow you to enter a dog 'not for competition', but these seem to be few and far between nowadays. Most will say that only dogs entered for competition are allowed in the show.

Re: hello
Generally Caryll all the shows will let you enter not for competition but I think for most there is a lower age limit of 4 months , this seems to be overlooked at the Breed shows thankfully and a blind eye turned to the dogs age b ut I think Peter is bringing his pup if I read correctly above

Re: hello
How old is Sammy at the moment ?? closing date for the show is July 7th so you could still enter him "not for competition" and I will be with the Chairman and Secretary of the Potteries on Monday night at Handling so could pay it for you

Re: hello
he is 4 1/2 months now , I don't mind about not entering the comp as hes a bit young , what I was worried about was not being able to get in with him , as we wanted to be at the show all together not in and out of the car park , plus the breeder is there and he wanted to see him again

Re: hello
if hes ready dave I don't want to push him to early , hes a good boy hes quite calm , he tends to want to sit rather than stand im doing a bit of work with him each day , hell let you see his teeth , a mate came over yesterday and gave him a good going over as if it was a show , and he just stood there no problem
