So i mentioned before how lexis leg wasn't right. She is walking with it really angled to the side, and shes walking on the back of her toes its just not right. Dad wants to take her back to ask if they think the hip is out again or just not set right, he thinks they have messed it up and took the sling off too early and the hip wasnt set right.

Take her for a checkup, it won't hurt and only ease your minds. It is going to take a while for her leg to settle and she might always have a limp or walk weirdly on that leg due to scar tissue inside the joint.

How long was/is she on cage rest?
Does she seem in any obvious pain?

How long was the sling on?

I've been reading up a bit and it says 10-14days and even then it's not guaranteed that the hip will stay in and surgery may still be needed.
Sounds like a vet visit is the best option.

Agreed - a vet trip would help, even if it's just to put your mind at rest. It's possible, I suppose, that the joint capsule hadn't fully healed before the sling came off, but it's probably nothing to worry about! I'm sure the vet will be able to offer some advice/reassurance.

Yes, I'd take her back, just to make sure.

They only kept the sling on for 4 days, which i thought was very little i had assumed she would come home with it. She was rested for a full week of none moving, only to pee. But the leg seemed better the first night then the second night it was sitting weird and been weird ever since. She doesn't seem in pain on it, just unstable like it won't do what it is told lol

Maybe some physiotherapy is called for? Muscles can get stiff in a remarkably short time if they "think" they are protecting a joint (speaking from personal experience here!).

I agree with all above - see what the vet thinks.

I hope the hip is still in and it's not anything serious.

I wonder if there's a bit of nerve damage?
