Entering a half-marathon!

First topic message reminder :
Last week, I mentioned to my friends at uni that I wanted to make use of the university gym. One of the girls FB messaged me earlier to ask if I was still interested, and would I mind being her training partner for a marathon? Five minutes later... Not only am I signing up for gym membership; I'm also running the half-marathon with her!
I used to love cross country and running at school, but I haven't done anything like that for a while now. Getting right into training this week, hopefully!
It's for charity, so why not?
