Aw caryll thanks for asking xx

On Thursday morning my eye was so sore and it was running none stop, I went to work but they sent me to the eye hospital, who said I had an ulcer on my eye cause by my contact lens. They gave me drops to put in every hour day and night a d to back on sat morning. I went back yesterday and have to carry on with the drops every 2 hours whilst I am awake. Then go back in a weeks time. Apparantly it's serious if not caught in time, you can end up blind.

I was knackered i had to set my alarm very our during Thursday and Friday night.

Still a bit sore but much much better xxx

That sounds awful!

Do you have soft or hard lenses?

I have the ones that you leave in 24/7 continuous use, change them every month.  They said that you should always take them out at night even though on the instructions you can leave them in ????

I take it you won't be leaving them in 24/7 again?

Contact lenses are evil! shocked They glue your eyes shut if you sleep with them in!

I hope your eye gets better very quickly Lynne, poor you  hug

Contact lenses aren't always evil, Eleanor! I've worn hard lenses every day for nearly 50 years but like the stars they come out at night. I do have a zizz most afternoons after lunch though and they haven't glued my eyes shut yet!

I've only ever tried soft lenses. I still think they're evil! laughing Useful, but evil!
