What would you have??

So if for some reason, we couldn't have the dogs we have now, what dog breed would you have or is there no other breed for you?

I'd personally LOVE love LOVE to own a Pit Bull Terrier they're hands down my favorite breed in the world! I'd also love a Dogo Argentino and maybe I'd have a Cane Corso and a Bully Kutta too!

For me, probably a Standard Poodle, Keeshond or a Pyrenean Mountain Dog. Love all three of them!

Gosh that's quite a variety! You'd have to get all of them! Haha

Sadly, I probably won't ever be able to get the last two Their coats are too thick and I'm allergic.

I have to be honest if I could not have a Staff my next breed that I would want would be an American Pitbull Terrier but obviously not going to be able to keep one of those in the UK so if I could not have they two then I am afraid I do not think I really would have any other breed

I like APBTs, but it's a shame they're banned here. No thanks to the irresponsible owners who caused it all.

If I couldn't have a dog at all, I'd probably rescue a pygmy hedgehog from one of the wildlife rescues. I love them!

It definitely is a shame they're banned! The other dog I'd love, the Dogo, is also a banned breed unfortunately! I think if I couldn't have those I would probably stick to big Staffords of stafford crosses!

Unfortunately, once a breed is banned, it's very unlikely that it would ever be allowed again. The moment the ban was lifted, the most irresponsible owners around would jump straight in to get one of these 'tough, banned dogs' and the whole cycle would begin again.

I'd have a Husky or a Tervueren. Love both of those!

Dogue de Bordeaux are lovely, though not a breed very well suited for me.

They are absolutely gorgeous theres a pup that wonders round here, and he's the size of a horse already

Mastiffs, eh? There is no 'small' when it comes to them!

If you think DDB are big you should see my bosses Great Dane puppy! He's called Bones, he's 5 months old and he's already towering over my managers fully grown Ridgebacks I'll have to get a picture to show you!

Again, love and admire them, but couldn't get one! Tbh, I'm not sure that there's any dog I don't admire. Even Mexican Hairless dogs, although the intermediate and miniatures aren't as interesting to me as the standards.

I love Dobermanns and always have done so if I were younger and not so arthritic I'd have another one.

I love the look of Borzois but not sure I could cope with one, especially the long hair.

I wouldn't have a hound. Some of them are absolutely beautiful, but it's the temperament I wouldn't get on with. Too independent and a liability off lead, especially if they're running with other dogs!

That's another reason why I won't ever have a Borzoi, unfortunately
