I know people complain about the rigid vaccine and quarantine laws in transportation, but they're necessary.

In Dog World this week an animal transporter (a bone fide one that makes sure all the paper work's correct) said that he sees hundreds of pups being smuggled in, or brought in with false paperwork, and he reckons it's only a matter of time before rabies strikes.  

Exactly. It's very easily transmissible as well and very difficult to cure!
