Agree completely! Finally, somebody who accepts that dogs don't just growl out of aggression. If they're worried about something, a growl is a normal response!

brilliant article!

I wish more people would realise growling is a GOOD thing! Chance originally bypassed the growl and would go straight for air snapping and attempted biting, due to I assume being told off for growling in the past. At least now he will growl ALOT tongue he growls at almost everything and every situation but they alll mean different things laughing

It should be about understanding a growl and what it means. For instance, Dempsey will growl if he's uncomfortable with something, but it isn't aggression. It would be pointless to tell him off for it.

Yep definitely, it's about understanding what situation the dog is in, the body language and if they are stupid like Chance and growl when he's happy rolling eyes
