Update on the vet who kept 'euthanised' dogs alive for his sick tests

Turns out that his own dog, alongside four others, was also a victim. She was found with two dislocated shoulders and a paw missing. She also had a severe case of mouth disease, cataracts and a degenerative neurological disorder. Another dog was kept in a small cage for years.

The first dog, as was mentioned in the first thread, was returned to his owners. Three others had to be euthanized due to the severe neglect and abuse.

There are also going to be investigations into other dogs, who have died in the vet's care. This has apparently been going on since 1997.

What a complete bastard! I hope he faces prosecution and a jail sentence.

OMG that is like the script of a horror movie. I hope they lock him up and it's for a long time. Those poor animals.

Yes, but even if he isn't found guilty, they can strike him off because he was keeping the animals in such poor conditions without proper medical care.

He sounds like Dr Frankenstein - if part of the Hippocratic oath for doctors "do no harm" is not included for vets, then it should be.
