yeah our landlord decided this was the best week to have a new roof fitted, so most of this week we've been without any roof what so ever, thankfully there's been no damage with the rain but even so.

It's been pouring down all day today! 
Really heavy, sheeting rain; the kind that makes a thunder noise on your roof. Wouldn't ever want to leave that behind!
Rain is my favourite weather. Half an hour ago, I was sitting on my windowsill with my legs dangling out of the window, in the rain. Curtain closed behind me, so that my bed didn't get wet.

So how have you all (especially you Ella, without a roof 
) been coping with Bertha?
We've got off lightly here, apart from one or two gusts which brought a couple of trees down, and only about 15 minutes of heavy rain.

We've had heavy rain, wind and some storms all day! It's cleared up a little now, but still very windy. We had weather warnings issued earlier for the gale-force winds, but I don't think any damage has been done.
