London guide dog owners fearful to step outside the door, due to cyclists

I can't even put it into words, how disgusted I am with this. For a start, the collisions on the pavement are unacceptable, regardless of sight. If it's a vehicle and you're an adult, ride it on the road or don't ride it at all.

A cyclist has a duty to be aware of the people around him or her. There is just no excuse for it! If they actually bothered to check at crossings, they'd easily be able to see a guide dog, or even just the white cane.

It isn't right that they can't leave their houses without fear of being hit by a careless cyclist.
