Just having a bit of a grumble. Spent most of last week with a migraine and now I'm loaded with the cold crying even walking around the house is making me all shaky sad
Wee Bella hasn't even been waking me up in the morning, I don't think she wants to get too close  laughing
I'm a pain in the backside when I'm not feeling well cause I get so p***** off about it lol.

Aww, poor you! sad

I don't really have any experience with migraines, but drinking loads of green tea and/or cranberry juice really helps me when I have a cold! And I mean really helps. It makes the cold disappear in a couple of days! happy I drink it practically by the gallon!

Hope you feel better soon hug hug empathy empathy

Oh poor you Caroline hug hug

Those who are fortunate enough not to have suffered from a migraine might think it's a fancy name for a headache - if only!

And then you got a cold - it's possible that your resistance was lowered by the cursed migraine.

I do hope you are recovering Caroline hug hug

You poor babe. What a rough trott.

I've only ever had a couple of migraines, light was unbearable,  worse than sound. I retreated to a dark room in silence.

Hot water with fresh lemon helps clear the sinuses & soothe the throat for me. Cold & flu pills also help make the day bearable.

I hope you feel better soon babe. hug

P.s.
( I know its not a man cold Dave. Cheeky bugger.) happy

Women have to be tough when it comes to illness - we have to suffer through it every month! tongue

I hope the green tea/cranberry juice helps! hug Might not taste too good, depending on whether or not you like it, but it works wonders! Also, if you can get it - water melon! happy It makes me feel a lot better!

Thank you, I'm feeling so much better now. Green tea, cranberry, iron with vit c tablets and vit b12 tabs. I had those in the house but I hadn't taken them in months. Really I just doped myself up with anything lying around happy

Remember - if you don't treat a cold it will last a week. However if you treat it, it will be gone in 7 days!

Good to hear that you are feeling better!
