So p*ssed off

Just got my acceptance letter for university. They've given me ten days to somehow come up with two forms of identification, one of which needs to be photographic. I also need original copies of my A Level and BTEC results - no idea where they are.

My passport is out of date and looks nothing like me and the only other identification I have is a debit card/bank statements. How the hell do they expect people to sort all of this out in ten days? The result copies aren't their fault, but I'm p*ssed off about the ID. Even if I had time to get a new passport or driver's license, I can't afford it.

I have to hope to God that they'll accept an out of date passport, which looks nothing like me.

Hope you get it sorted. Passport should be okay as all your details will match. Give them a call to check or look on line( it must be a pretty common question)

A bank statement should be fine for one form & even an out of date passport should be ok? It will still match your bank statement personal info.

We've touched on this subject before! There must be some common sense applied here - it's not everyone who drives and holds a passport.

They specified on the letter that bank statements, debit/credit cards, passports, driver's licenses, etc., are allowed. Birth certificates are not. And one of them has to be photographic. I'll email them in the morning to ask about the out of date passport. Would phone, but they pretty much refuse to sort anything out on the phone.

I'll probably use my debit card, as I'll already have my purse with me.

You've probably noticed by now, but they seriously pee me off!

That's not long at all to sort it out hopefully they will accept an out of date passport since it's really just to show that you are who you say you are.
