Tristan and I spent a very sunny weekend in Dorset, on the 'Foundation Tracking' workshop.  We had a great time and learned a lot.  I love the way that Pat has such a supportive environment to learn in, and a lot of fun was had.  If you have a chance, and want to learn about tracking, and the science behind how it works, then this is the course for you!  It's great for reactive dogs, they spend so much energy tracking the scent, that all else melts away.

Tristan was a natural, and I learned how to trust him with what he could do - it makes the bond so much stronger when you can work together.  Here's Tristan and I on day one, doing a straight track to start.

Yes, very popular, only 4-5 spaces on each course and these fill up quickly. It's a measure of how good they are!

It's nice that they keep them small - much easier to learn!

Yes, and especially when you have a reactive dog - meant that I could keep Tristan out of harm's way - plenty of space & plenty to do!
