Royal Mail refuses to deliver post to entire street due to dog bite

Sounds like the dog was being protective of the child, although it obviously shouldn't have happened. Royal Mail, in my opinion, is being completely unfair though - there are people in that street who were waiting for important medical documents and appointment notices and didn't receive them.

I could understand them not delivering to the house where the dog was, but the whole street? That's ludicrous!

Any old excuse, eh? Not saying that the entire postal service is like that, but in this situation it seems to be the case.
