The neighbours dogs Empty The neighbours dogs

Was up at neighbour #1 getting hay. Neighbour #2 up the lane a bit has the 5 or 6 GSD police dogs. Neighbouur #1 was telling us that in the past year one of the dogs has bitten him, tore half his sons buttocks off and killed his dog. He's not the sort to go reporting people, hes an old farmer and knows dogs bite but the dog is straying on his land now and he will have to shoot it if it comes at him again ( he has foals and lambs so can't let it get a taste for killing!!) neighbour #2 just doesn't seem to think there is a problem with keeping 5-6 large attack trained dogs on a small yard with no fences! I have never been caught by them cause they don't seem to challenge me like they do others, but if they went for my ponies they would not stand a chance.  worried

My God! sad That's just completely irresponsible! The owner of the dogs is completely irresponsible; if the dogs attack somebody, he's to blame, whether it's humans or livestock.

Personally, because of what's happened, if I saw one of his dogs out of control I'd pick up the phone to the dog warden.

Its a police dog so noone would do anything about it. The farmer has his own methods of dealing with dogs, put it that way!

Yeah they are Lynda. He said if it or any of them annoys him again he's going to get the police or shoot it.

I think the police are the better option, though I understand his comments amount shooting.
