So. Dempsey managed to dye his fur again.

This time, he has black splodges all over his paws, as well as some on his muzzle. God knows how, but it happened in the same place as last time!

I think this stuff is black ink. My first thought was oil (mechanic type), but there's no smell and it seemed to spread like ink.

Might be a good idea. Any chance your local council, or whoever looks after this particular patch of land, could be persuaded to get interested? Have any other dogs been dyed strange colours?

I doubt it - there was nothing visible on the grass. Looks like there have just been splashes of ink on the grass for some reason, which has come off slightly on his paws.
