Dempsey can be a little sweetheart sometimes

Not been feeling well today and didn't sleep at all last night (stomach pains), but Dempsey knows how to help! I was curled up in the armchair earlier and Demps was asleep on the sofa. Periodically, every ten minutes or so, he'd wake up, jump down, walk over to me and start nuzzling me with his tail wagging and eyes all huge and dark.   

Do your dogs do the same thing?

b) No, unfortunately. Kuchar has no understanding whatsoever as to why I can't sometimes play with him or pander to his every whim.

Thank you, but it isn't a big deal! Just one of those things that every woman has to deal with! Would make it a lot easier if pain killers worked, but oh well - what doesn't kill you makes you stronger!

Maybe when he's older? Before Demps reached about 3 years old, he'd just give you a weird look and walk away.

Yes, though unfortunately I can't blame them really. The pain-killers are good and strong, but my body has decided it hates me and is refusing to give up.

I think a lot of dogs become more sensitive to human emotions as they age and calm down!

Millie is quite good when someone isn't feeling well. One of my friends was visiting shortly after having a cesarean and she was so calm and gentle around her. This was the friend I got Millie from and normally she goes mad jumping all over her. Bella seems to think that if you're not well then all you need is her jumping on you, nose nudges and kisses to make you all better lol.

Thank you, I am feeling a bit better! Spent the most part of yesterday night throwing up   but a good night's sleep has helped a lot!

I think it's one of the sweetest things a dog can do when they're trying to make you feel better.

Mine are great comforters. If I'm feeling down or have a headache etc.. they all get on the bed or sofa with me and have to have their heads resting on me. It always makes me feel better.

Demps does it sometimes. Other times, he'll just ignore me and go to sleep!
