My Wolves
This morning I finally understood why they call German Shepherds, Wolfdogs.
I called my pack in for breakfast and everyone comes running into the light (it's still quite dark out at 5:30) you can hear them coming, but Axel and Lequita come slinking out of the dark soundless. First thing you notice is yellow eyes looking up from heads held low... very disconcerting.
I think if someone was to sneak around here and these 2 came out of nowhere they would **** themself.
They don't always do this most times it's a race to see who gets to me first but this morning ... scary!

Re: My Wolves
Dogs are very far removed from wolves, but they do keep a lot if characteristics. Some breeds more than others, but even some small dogs can look wolf like in some circumstances, especially in the half light!

I can just picture it. It must be reassuring to know you have protection around the place though.

Re: My Wolves
I was thinking exactly that last night. If someone broke into my house, they're in serious ****.
