Officially getting a puppy
First topic message reminder :
Mum has said she wants a puppy. Seems her and lexis little bonding day made her want one lol so we are on the look for a lab. Won't make any hasty decisions, we don't want one until they come back from hols in a few weeks, but yay! As a pup i'm hoping that seeing it about and being near it all the time will make Lexi accept it and be a good girl (shes got lots better lately) but if not there is enough room here to have seperate dogs until the time Lexi goes to doggy heaven.

I just cannot understand why anyone would just abandon a member of their family like this. Poor Rocky.
However, these things happen and if Rocky fits in with your family, I hope it all works out very well for you all - and congratulations!

Poor boy, my heart goes out to him. Honestly, how can his owners do this to him? I used to live overseas and I really want to go back but it entails spending a lot of money taking them or allowing them to live out their natural lives in the climate they are used to. So I am doing the second option. My boys would not be able to stand the heat in the Caribbean so I will wait to go back.
