The bit you quoted made me laugh, but she does have a point.

I'm afraid that Kuchar is an OTP dog-greeter, apart from the shouting, and I always keep him on a tight lead when nearing other dogs. He will strain at the leash though, so I always ask is it OK for them to say hello, and it usually is.

I've nothing against people with over-exuberant dogs straining at the leash, just the ones who seem to think it's ok to let the dog bound all over you and your dog without first checking that it's ok!
