Bit of market research from you lovelies

Right first thing I've been asked to sell sweet potato chews so we are trialing them in the dehydrator atm - I was thinking of doing SP chips so bite sized treats for training etc and chews which are much larger so more a at home treat.

Would any of you guys buy this sort of thing? I don't as the boys won't eat any veg/fruit and things like this so.....

Also what sort of price would you say is reasonable?

Next thing is packaging!

I keep it simple to try and keep p&p down so ATM treats are in grip seal bags, however would people prefer me to keep it in this style so you can use this bag as it's resealable or would you prefer a 'proper' sealed bag, i have a heat sealer so it's easily done?

Personally, I like the grip seal bags, they're much easier to store.

Re: the sp chews/treats. Dempsey loves veg so I'd certainly buy, but I've never bought vege treats so I don't know about prices. I tend to think that if something's good, it's worth paying for!

What she said. In regards to packaging, I like the stuff you use now - it's simple, strong enough to carry around in a pocket without everything leaking out and can be stored easily.

Well first lot of SP chips and crisps are a success IMO, the boys won't touch them and look like i'm trying to poison them but Jake next door loves them haha
