Hot Day, Cool Grass...

Dempsey obviously felt that it was too hot to continue on his walk this evening, so he found some long grass to cool down in...
...which of course is very tiring...
...and deserves a rest...

Silly boy! It was sweet though!
Had to roll him back over straight after the last picture was taken, as he disturbed an ants' nest and had them crawling all over his neck!

He was very disappointed!
But we couldn't have stayed long anyway - a couple of numpties were walking towards us with two dogs off lead & pleasing themselves! Recipe for disaster!

Yes, two dogs who were being allowed to race in and out of people's gardens and wrestle with each other in the middle of the road!
