Happy birthday to my dad! (Pics of the present I've got for him)

It's my lovely dad's birthday today! I decided to make his present from scratch. A lot of hassle, as I'd ordered the supplies online to arrive for last Tuesday, but they didn't get delivered until Wednesday. I wasn't around on Wednesday, so the postie left a card.   Wouldn't have been able to get it redelivered until Friday, which meant I wouldn't have been able to finish it in time. So mum and I went all the way up to the sorting office on Thursday morning to collect it.

A lot of hard work and working for hours on end to get in finished, but it finally got done last night! (Thanks mum, for helping me sew on the buttons!)

It's a big cushion, knitted from a blend of wools (normal wool, alpaca wool - no acrylics!). With 'DAD' knitted onto one side. Took a while to get the cable knitted side sorted out at the right size!

Brilliant, he'll love it!

Yes, he loved it - but he's removed it to the bedroom where Dempsey isn't allowed!

I always love a gift made just for me. So pleased he liked it. & tell Dempsey.... PAWS OFF my little friend!
