Laptop is driving me insane!

This morning it's started flashing to a blue screen and back to normal again   

So now I'm updating all drivers and running a system scan to see if it'll fix it. I hope and pray either will fix the problem else it may be the screen that's packing up. Bloody thing is only 6 months old!
It does look like a Windows problem though so fingers crossed it's only a corrupted file.
So many things that can go wrong   

If it's the blue screen, then it's unlikely to be the screen - the screen just shows what it's told to show by the computer.  

You haven't got a virus, have you? I'm a computer numpty so I'm not much use!

No viruses, spyware or malware. It seems to be a driver, corrupt windows file problem or problem with an update. I'm eliminating problems one by one.
I am sure it's not the screen itself as when I'm on Firefox it doesn't go blue, just the desktop that does it.

Good stuff, because we have a saying here for computers....

Death by blue screen.

We have it as well but it's not really death. Just means Windows isn't working.

Had it once at work and the IT nerd fixed it.

I just hide behind the reset button and keep pressing it until it stops going blue! Worked so far, luckily!

I learned a lot about corrupted registry files, drivers and wiring yesterday lol
I also learned that we get really **** support in South Africa.

Haha... I started by googling laptop screen flashes blue. It was elimination after that.

All I can say is well done! You got further than i ever would have.
