The truth about Pure Bred dogs

I keep stumbling across these things.
Can't really argue with what he's saying.

Well, personally, I think a lot of what he says is rubbish. For a start, he says that 90% of dog breeds were created in the last 100 years - rubbish! In the 19th century there were many breeds around that are still with us today.

Plus, not all dog breeds are 'riddles' with genetics problems. Bulldogs don't have to give birth by C-section, not nowadays.

Not all mutts are healthy!

He over dramatizes it a bit but the core is not far off.
You have to take into account all the dogs in the world and work out your statistics from there. The facts are not wrong.
