Love it! Anne Rice, Alice Borchardt for vampires and werewolves, but David Gemmell for heroic fantasy is my fave. I've got the 'True Blood' set of books, but not got round to reading them yet.

I love them as well but not the YA and some of the newer books that are inspired by 50 Shades and are all about dominance and submission. I like a story with some kicked ass in it.
I read Anne Rice ages ago. I should actually re-read them again.
Some of my favourites so far have been:
Illona Andrews - Kate Daniels series
Patricia Briggs - Mercy Thompson series
Richelle Mead - Dark Swan saga.
Charlaine Harris's - True Blood/Southern Vampire series.
I have all these in ebooks (pdf's, mobi or epub) if anyone wants them.
