Cheeky, manipulative, little sod!

Fed Demps his dinner just now. Afterwards, he trod in a piece of it, which he'd tipped out of his bowl. Held his paw up, looking scandalised, then put it back down.
As he put his paw back down, I said, "Oh dear! What's the matter? Did you get food on your paw?"
The moment I said it, he picked his paw up again, wagging his tail furiously, and hopped around the kitchen like he was the survivor of a natural disaster! Attention-seeking little sneak!

I couldn't even ignore it either! I had to go and rub his paw for him and give him a fuss, as I'd have felt bad otherwise.
