Mr whippy is back!

Do you guys have Mr Whippy trucks? ( ice cream vans that play music so the kids come running with coins to get an ice cream.)

I have a park across the road from my house. The council have just finished replacing all the playground equipment. There is a new swing that is a dish that 3 adults could fit in! The kids are loving it & all I can hear ea day is squeals & laughter as they play...shoot down the flying fox, see how high the swing can go, play footy with the new goal posts, sheer fun after school ea day.

NOW... Mr Whippy is here playing music.

 Oh, its so lovely.... the sun is back, the kids are playing, Mr Whippy is here....

I can't stand most of the Mr Whippy van drivers here. I've only ever met one nice one, who used to do the route coming back from my primary school. He gave out free ice creams if it was the child's birthday!

Well that just not nice! I've never met a mean Mr Whippy. Though I have met a couple who served those damn little kiddies ahead of me! Bloody little que jumpers!

I think I need to rethink my strategy & start body tackles on 5yr olds!

We used to have Mr Whippy when I was a child, but the ice cream vans round here are Gallione's.

My ice cream childhood was ruined when I was at the beach one day and the ice cream man started a fight with a policeman.

Another time, I was playing in a park when I was probably about four or five. Mum gave me one pound (I felt rich!) to get an ice cream cone. Off I went, skipping along! Little four-year-old me had no idea about change, so I went back to mum perfectly happily, licking my ice cream. Then mum went storming up to the ice cream man and chewed him out for taking advantage of kids and short changing them! And got her change back.

Oh that is just awful! Mr Whippy is supposed to be as nice as santa. Good on Caryll!! I would have smacked that Mr Whippy! He had no business being around kids. What awful people.
