Bramble warning from Dempsey Empty Bramble warning from Dempsey

I think most dogs are smart enough to know that they shouldn't swallow things that hurt their mouths. Tell that to Dempsey, who yesterday thought it would be a great idea to snatch a large mouthful of brambles from our garden. He then spent the next half an hour coughing intermittently because he'd irritated his throat.

To add insult to injury, he proceeded to start snatching at every piece of greenery he could reach - including ivy leaves. Cue me, having to scoop slimy, chewed up leaves from his mouth before he swallowed them.

Daft dog!

Daft boy! I always wonder why they don't learn about things like that. It only takes one bath for them to realise they don't like it, one time getting their nails clipped, but eating things they shouldn't? Nooo, lets try that again rolling eyes laughing Bella has a thing about loose thread, she's always chewing away on it and nearly choking.

Oh yes, it's like a magician's trick where they pull the row of hankies out of their pocket laughing
