Identity of Jack the Ripper finally revealed after 100% DNA match

They managed to match up the DNA found on the shawl of one of the victims to a relative of one of their suspects, using technology only available within recent years.

Kosminski was 23 when the murders took place. He died at the age of 53, in a mental asylum.

I've got a morbid curiosity about this. I hope they're going to conduct proper analyses on it, so that they (maybe) can get some concrete evidence! It'd be really interesting to know where or not this is true.

This was a theory put forward by Martin Fido some years ago & the facts do seem to fit.

Saw this and was on one hand amazed and jubilant and on the other i was crushed and hated that the mystery was gone. He died in a mental hospital which takes away a lot of the "romance" of it.

It's really interesting!

But yeah, the mystery's been killed.
