Gold was a wild guess! laughing I get that gold could drive somebody mad, the beating up part and the soft but hard part. I just don't get the other parts!

Gold made men yell on the gold fields... Im an ex jeweller. Gold in its purest is more maliable than most metals.

If you have rings of 14ct or more.... take them off when you do the dishes.
