My foster cat Empty My foster cat

Post by Hayley Fri Jan 16, 2015 12:33 am

Some of you may remember/know of my friend who is giving birth to a special baby soon. Well i already have her horse so i may as well have her cat too happy

So pebbles will be coming on wednesday. We have had the "outside cats will do what they do (aka if she goes away its not on me, ill do what i can to keep her here") so at least im ok that way.

That's a pretty cat!

Do you think she'll stay okay or try to go home?

She's gorgeous. I had an almost identical cat years ago.
Just keep her inside for a few days so she knows where her bed and food is and she shouldn't stray.

She's a pretty girl.

A few years ago, I had a neighbour with several cats who moved from where we were, in the middle of nowhere, to the centre of the village, a distance of approximately 1.5 miles. One of his cats kept returning, so I'd tell him about it, or catch the cat and return her. After a few attempts at taking her home, I told him she was still around, and he didn't bother to collect her, but left her as a stray.
I wasn't happy with this at all, and my dog at the time hated cats with a passion. I heard of someone else in the village who was looking for a cat, as hers had passed, so I caught the stray and took her down, giving a warning about how she would need to be kept in for some time as she'd keep returning.
This lady had only had the cat for a day, when the cat slipped out through the patio door, and the lady was distraught, she thought she'd lost her straight away. The cat laid out on the lawn in the sun, and returned to the house when hungry. She knew on which side her bread was buttered!

Her house is a fair bit away no chance of the cat making that distance. I hope she will stay of course - but it will depend on my cat and her getting on (if they do they're both more likely to stay) if they don't one is likely to move out lol
