Do you know Michael McIntyre?

Do you know his work? It's on here at the moment "Michael McIntyre's comedy roadshow." Many of his guests are somewhat funny but?.... I don't get it?
Can anyone explain why he is paid for this?
Seems all slap stick (school/teen humour which was great in the 70's, 80's) but not intelligent humour to me.
Whats your opinion?

Not my cup of tea, but humour is subjective. A lot of people find him funny, apparently. Eh.

He's highly popular, and has made a lot of money - but I'm not a fan.

I love comedy. Jim Oin, Jeff Dunham, Bill Cosby.... I just don't get Michael.

My current favourites are John Bishop, Lee Mack and Huw Dennis.

I saw a show John Bishop did in NSW here, (long.. long.. time ago?) Now that was funny... poor bloke was horrified & terrified. Aussie life made him gasp! I laughed at the tv. He took the p1ss to the toad. He was smart & scared soooo in the know & funny!

There are very few modern comedians that I find funny, I'm afraid.

I like Michael , love John Bishop and Sarah Millican is just about the best thing in recent years
