We're all getting educated. I started a Canine Psychology course. All brains and lobes and neurons at the moment.

I'm getting an MRI scan on my knee tomorrow afternoon. Strange day to do it, but never mind!

Oh Caryll, good luck with your MRI scan.

I've never had one - apparently x-rays were enough to show what crappy knees I have, but an MRI scan must be so much more informative.

My concern is being able to spend 30 mins lying still with my leg straight - a position that makes my knee ache abominably after only about 30 seconds!

Yes, Lynda, still waiting! It takes 10 to 14 days for the results to get back to my doctor. I'm hoping that it's soft tissue damage and not a tear. Damage can be fixed through pills and rest - a tear will need an operation.
