Hello, I'm a newbie, got 3 dogs always had dogs around. I have Whippet x Saluki Longdog, a JRT and a Staffie x Lab, all rescues saved from certain death in 2 cases.
I do help dog charities by making and donating items when I have the time.

They are all characters, the "cheeky" fat russell was not wanted by a Farrier who's ex girlfriend had dumped the pup back on him, he was only 1 year old, stuffed in cages in a van with 4 other dogs getting beaten up.Luckily we had a client at the stables who alerted us to the plight of this dog and went up and took him off the Farrier's hands.We were his 4th home in a year and for a long time he suffered separation anxiety as he didn't know when we went out if he would see us again and be passed on to someone else.

We campaigned for 2 years to get it closed, they have been caught selling and keeping animals again and raided again and yet they still do it.
I firmly believe we saved her from certain death, she was in a terrible state when we got her. These people were puppy farming and selling lost or stolen dogs for profit, nothing to do with being a charity.

This is Barney the Braindead
on death row in council pound at approx 5 and half months old, think he was bred as a status or fighting dog but is too soppy for either. Was due to be put to sleep after 11 days because of his "type" so I fostered him and kept him.

We were talking about raw feeding and I suggested anyone join for our Ellas advise. Oz here is also a raw feeder and very knowledgeable chap!
