Park Time!
This is our new local park. It's divided in two, with the first part being quite formal & the second more natural.
The first part has tennis courts, bowls greens & even a petanque court, plus flower beds, a museum and an aviary. Dogs are supposed to be on lead, but most people let them off lead but keep them under control. There is also a lovely old church (dates back to the C14) at the edge.
The second part is separated from the first by a busy road and is more natural with no flower beds. There are football pitches, two children's playgrounds, man made ponds and no flower beds. Dogs are generally off lead, but again, most are under control!
So, this is the second, less formal part, with the ponds in the background...
This is the first part...
The museum and the aviary
Tennis courts to the left, the Old Rectory & Dempsey's bum!
The Old Rectory - a huge thatched house with a stable yard at the back (now used as a storage area/workshop for the local council)
And one of Dempsey by the rose beds for good measure!

That looks lovely - what are Dempsey's thoughts on the new area for walkies?

Re: Park Time!
Better than our old one, that's for sure! The only time I've ever actually been attacked by a dog was over our old one (thankfully, the dog was small and couldn't reach higher than the top of my boot). This one is much friendlier!

Re: Park Time!
Yes, the people here are a lot friendlier, and seem more bull breed tolerant.
