Purina being sued

Although you have to be careful with online media frenzy, it really wouldn't surprise me if this allegation is true. Whether or not this food makes dogs seriously ill, I still wouldn't use it if I had other options.

I'd have been more likely to believe it, if it was in any country but America. They sue everyone over any thing they can think up.
Purina makes a crap load of different foods world wide so why would only 1 make dogs die?

Years ago Vet's Choice had problems with one of their imported additives causing problems with some dogs and they withdrew all their food with that additive in. My mum had to take her bag of food back, was refunded and got a new bag for free plus the vet checked her dogs out at no charge.

I think the reason for just the one brand was that the toxin was introduced during the production process, and the factory line was only producing that type at the time.

But as you say, the USA is the land of litigation!
