In other words, the hunter shot a wolf, and then tried to cover himself when he realised that it was a tracked one and that people might be a tad angry.

I'm not going to read the article. So depressing. According to me it's illegal to kill a wolf. I know farmers shoot or poison them and then bury the evidence.
Then: To confuse a grey wolf with a coyote? Is the idiot blind?
