HAPPY 12th BIRTHDAY to my Jessup.

I woke this morn to her being ferral.  Barking at passersbys, sticking her nose & tounge in my face to wake me, (apparently, she wanted me to get up now, had notified Tyson & Chilli as they both jumped on the bed & turned it into a wrestling match!) argh! Im sleeping here! Then more barking for her breaky, yet more barking for no reason, barking to go out, barking to come back in, then barking for her after breaky carrot. (She was sooo happy, every bark was expressed with a front end jump as she blew her bark in your face.) I told her off, then went to check emails to find my phone reminding me it was her birthday! Jessie!          
(My excuse... I remembered yesterday but I wasn't awake for 1/2hr while she kept barking.)

She is so happy & barky today if I didn't know better I'd swear she knew it was her birthday.

So we had a party....

My OH wanted her to have her favorite "chunkers" treat so.... so it was. She   them!


She tucked in like a hungry hog, but don't worry, Tyson got his share. He's just trying to chew & swollow far too much in his mouth in this pic. Only Chilli missed out as too many mouths going crazy for her to stick her head in the mix.   & they still have a special dinner to come designed for both dogs & cats.


Then they had fresh sweet potato & roast beef smoked sticks.
Chilli got in on that one.  


HAPPY BIRTHDAY Jessie.

Today we all feast, play in the park later, then it's a nanna nap for her as.... tomorrow Chilli turns 1yr. So... we will feast again, but on sardines tomorrow.

She had every right to bark in your face, it's her birthday - she can do what she likes for the day.

Love the photos, it looks like they all had a wonderful time, party hats and all! But where's Chilli's hat?

Jess has never been a loud dog, always quiet, she aways tiptoed. You'd never known she was there till she cornered you.
Now, as she's aged... every yr she barks more & she LOVES to get up close & bark for fun or in your face... she likes to show her tonsils off!

They loved it! Had a run.Both are napping now.

You try getting a party hat on a cat! But I am going to try it tomorrow. Maybe she'll like the yellow one?
