Ah, bless! This is Kuchar's favourite position too, but usually with his hind legs akimbo too!

Is he grumbling? Tyson has to grumble "talk" when on his back.
Great pic.

Sometimes he has a grumble, but mostly he just sighs!

That's been his favourite position as of late. The heat is starting to bother him.

Sorry, I missed this post....Tyson likes to throw in an upside down "frog dog" at the same time. (No, he has no shame or dignity.)LyndaW wrote:Ah, bless! This is Kuchar's favourite position too, but usually with his hind legs akimbo too!
BTW... I think Kuchar & Tyson are physical twins.

Nobody in the UK has air conditioning! What a waste of electricity!
Try our temperature with the accompanying humidity, then make fun! I must have lost three pounds just through sweating!

You don't have air con? It's a standard like bread here.

I had air conditioning installed in the dogs room early this year - at least I know they are not suffering!!!

Re: Make yourself comfortable...
I have to admit, it would be nice to have it during our infrequent warmer days. We never seem to get anything other than rain here most of the time, though. I think we've had three/four days of hot weather this week, but today it's been overcast, windy and rainy again!

Re: Make yourself comfortable...
Yes, yesterday was uncomfortable at 35C. It's not so much the temperature though as the high humidity (and we are in the UK a humid country). So, to be basic, our sweat doesn't evaporate and cool us. I have upon occasion been in various countries where the temperature has been about the same (give or take) but the air itself is dryer, so as long as you drink enough water you remain comfortable.
Our normal summer temperature in the UK is between 20 to 30C, which even given our high humidity is pleasant for most. Some open windows and a fan or two and we're OK. Most workplaces and public buildings (eg supermarkets, banks etc) have air con, but your average UK dwelling doesn't need it for most of the year. We are very lucky to live in a temperate climate!

Re: Make yourself comfortable...
Very true. When we were in San Francisco and San Jose a few years ago, the temperature was consistently in the 30s, but it was a 'dry' heat. We got by quite easily with sun screen and suitable clothes. San Jose was a little more uncomfortable, as it was close to 40, but still better than that horrible, sticky, humid heat that we sometimes get in the UK.
I'd still prefer to live in the UK. Lots of rain.
