Good for this guy.

About 30 years my next-door neighbour jumped off a bridge over the M3 and spent a long time in hospital with two broken legs. This was obviously not the result he was hoping for, because when he was mended he threw himself under a train. That did the trick.

I feel terrible that I didn't help more (although my husband of the time was kind enough to visit him in hospital) but he was seriously weird and I was scared of him. I got my punishment though when he haunted my bedroom cupboard one night soon afterwards (I've told you this story already), and then his sister moved into his house and metamorphosed into him, only worse.

I'm glad this girl is OK (well, we can only hope so).

At least this lady had a guardian angel and hopefully she'll receive the help she needs.

I've not heard that story before, Lydda. However, it cannot be your fault, where were the specialists who must have known he had problems - after all, his broken legs weren't fixed at home
