Re: Cold!
I remember last year, I was wingeing about all the snow. I do like the snow when it is falling and fresh snow I just hate it when it starts to ice over

Re: Cold!
I'm warm and toasty
I know what you mean Lynne! I hate the ice part of snow. Lost count of the amount of times I've fallen on my bum! Although we should consider ourselves lucky here, as a bad snow for us is only a few inches deep!

I'd hate to live in New York at this time of year! Or anywhere near Niagara Falls, which froze!

Re: Cold!
Oh I'm so sick of this winter. Sick of the rain, sick of the leaden skies, sick of the mud, sick of the flooded fields, sick of all the viruses going round ....

Re: Cold!
I love the rain, but not so much the cold and the viruses. Spring isn't too far away though!

Yes, roll on Spring! The snowdrops are blooming, the catkins are out and hope springs eternal in the human breast

Re: Cold!
Poor daffodil must be wondering what's hit it. I've got some small ones called February Gold, but if they come out in February I shall be very much surprised.
Spring and Summer are my favourite seasons - the other half of the year is pants.

Re: Cold!
At least they're popping up earlier than last year!
Autumn isn't so bad for me, as it can still be quite mild, but winter brings ice, which I hate

Re: Cold!
Autumn is depressing - everything dieing, winter is worst, everything dead.
A long long time ago, when I took out my pension plans, my idea was that when I retired I would go to Australia between November and mid-March, so my year would be Spring and Summer, Spring and Summer. It was feasible (based on projections then).
Funny how things work out
